Went to Waterloo & City last night and had the Dine LA menu. I thought that the chicken liver appetizer (which is served in a cute small glass jar with a thin layer of tasty fat, jam, caper berry, cornichon and a lovely sprig of chervil) was quite tasty and I also very much enjoyed the haddock and savoy cabbage dish as well (although it might have been a tad salty, I really liked the smoky flavor). The sticky toffee pudding was to die for.
My one gripe is that their bread is subpar. There were like four different flavored breads in the breadbasket that all tasted marginal. Even the bread (I think it was a brioche, the liver would have been better served with a toast) that was served with the chicken liver was disappointing.
