Waterfront/Outdoor dining in metro Detroit

Since we're the Great Lakes State, I'm assuming there must be many more lakeside/waterfront dining options than I'm aware of. And if not on the water, what are your favorite outdoor dining spots?

This summer I've been to Bayside Sports Grille on Walled Lake. Super loud, super crowded, but the service, pizza, burgers and prices were good. But in all honesty, I do not believe this place would be in business without the view.

My second waterview dining experience was on the deck at the Rattlesnake Club in Detroit. The atmosphere was perfect. They had a band playing, the service was great, the view of the river and Windsor were spectacular. Instead of the prix fixe menu, I ordered off the Terrace and Grill menu. The Heirloom Tomato & Basil Flatbread was good enough. The Truffled Shoestring Fries were wonderful. I wouldn't order the Ahi Tuna again, not great.

The waitress brought a yummy gooey chocolate cake dessert thingy. Since it was a surprise for my birthday, I don't know what it was.

The only downside was I ordered a coffee and it arrived about 20 minutes later while I was walking out. Apparently they bring a French press to your table and make the coffee there and it takes time. Next time, I'll order earlier.
