I was impressed. Yes, you had to let them charge your credit card in advance but you didn't have to worry about them running out of dishes, overbooking, etc. Simple aspargus amuse. Appetizers: me a peeky toe crab thing, she field greens salad. Both good, not great. Firsts: me a delicious shrimp risotto, she a clam chowder with actual clams in the shells. Mains: me a delicious steelhead, appropriately medium rare, she really good striped bass. Chocolate things for dessert. This was $90 per person and worth it. Throw in a couple of glasses of Schramsberg, a bottle of Chablis and coffee and we were out the door for over $300, but really enjoyed it. Good food. Impeccably well orchestrated service that was attentive without being obsequious. Would do it again. If I could, the only change I'd make would be to double the risotto, and add a third portion (medallion) of the steelhead and drop the rest. Well, OK, let's have some chocolate.
