Water Grill - Lunch (REPORT)

Thanks for the suggestions (basically, "try anything -- it will be great!")

I had the lobster salad (belgium endive, tangelos) - very good, the tangelos were a complementary flavor to the bitter(in a good way)greens and subtle lobster meat.

I also had the halibut - steamed with english peas, niman ranch bacon and small potatoes (very small, almost the size of pearl onions - i cannot remember their proper name). the smoky bacon flavor went well with the delicate halibut and light peas. the potatoes were a nice add as well. basically, a nice array of flavors.

I do not tend to note complementary flavors as much, given that I have not trained my way of thinking towards flavors and the effects on my palate (think caveman with his food - aargh! give me my steak!!!!!). But, this meal really stood out, and I had no choice BUT to notice the flavors and how they worked together. Truly a wonderful lunch.

Please note, my original plan was to order the lobster bisque and skate wing. Both items were not on the lunch menu - so keep that in mind if you're looking on their online menu.
