The second water fountain in Morrison Hall, UC Berkeley

David Boyk | Sep 28, 2002 04:52 PM

There are two drinking fountains on the first floor of Morrison Hall, the music building at Cal. They're both pretty good, but the one farther from Hertz Hall, the concert hall, is especially good. It's got all three characteristics a fan of water fountains looks for: temperature, taste, and flow. The other Morrison fountain gets high marks for the first two, but its flow rate is just not quite as high as the first I mentioned. There's a fountain in the basement of Barrows Hall, across from the KALX (90.7 FM) office, which has a similar flow to the good Morrison one, but the temperature just isn't what a diner would wish.
