Washington and Alexandria weekend May 15 to 18

Tdotfoodguy | May 3, 201511:44 AM     14

My wife and I are visiting DC to check out the city. We have ended up staying in Alexandria but will spend most of the days downtown Washington. Looking for interesting places to eat lunches downtown, near museums and local sites and then later dinners back in Alexandria. We like fine dining but also love smaller places that may be new on a scene but punching above their weight. Also maybe a brunch place for Sunday. Open to mostly anything with a food payoff. Thanks in advance. And yes I am checking out the board right now.
