We decided to go out for breakfast this morning . We ended up at our usual haunt, Gilman Grill. Although the breakfast itself was fine, it was freezing. The place has lots of windows and so is harder to heat than the usual place....however, they MUST have a heater, no?
We thought of Cafe 817 (if it still exists), which serves a terrific breakfast, but they leave the front door open most of the time. Even when they don't, the place is small and opening the door allows freezing winds to enter.
Rick and Ann's (Anne's?) is warmer, but it's always crowded so there's a wait.
Sunnyside in Berkeley is fine, but again, if you get one of the tables downstairs, the door is right there and cold drafts abound.
Any cozy places that serve good food?
