I once had this wonderful dessert in a private home and absolutely fell in love-- cool and smooth and slightly smoky. Since then I've tried packaged versions from Mitsuwa and find them gelatinous and unpleasant. Can some one steer me toward brands, recipes, retail or restaurant sources in LA? I'd be interested in any information.
