I was shopping this evening and saw that Gelateria Naia is coming to the downtown. Their store in Berkeley is great. Lots of flavors and good quality, just like what I have had in Italy. It is right next to Il Fornaio

Il Fornaio is of course the place where I am always suprised that my food tastes good because the service ranges from poor to comical. Once, my wife's meal was brought out by someone who was not our server. I didn't get mine. I asked another server, who was also not our original server and they sped away to find my food. Then I see our server. Good news, right? I tell him I haven't gotten my food yet. He just looks at me and asks, "What did you order?"

Anyways, if the geltao here is as good as it is in Berkeley you'll be happy.
