I had dinner at Wallse on Saturday, and it was wonderful! I started with the scallops with peas, bacon and chanterelles--marvelous! My main course was the lobster with peas, spaetzle with a corn-curry sauce---divine! The lobster course was so plentiful that I had to take some home in a "doggie bag". My dessert was fabulous--Salzburger Nockerl. This dessert is most similar to a souffle, but imagine the best souffle you've ever had; this was better. I can't wait to return. Next time I want to have wine pairings selected by Aldo.
