Wall Street area lunch recommendation

Clara Loon | Sep 21, 2004 03:44 PM

Hi I'm new to this group and the Wall Street area. I'm having a hard time finding good (and cheap) chow here.

So far, I like Mangia, but they're quite expensive.

Sophie's (Cuban) on New Street is acceptable.

Daikichi Sushi SUCKS.

Today, I had baked sweet potatoe from a street vendor (on Nassau near Pine? about three blocks from NYSE). It was AMAZING! Highly recommended.

Was disappointed by the chili from Dallas BBQ street vendor... they got a big review somewhere. It was ok.

I especially like good baguette sandwich, spanish rice and beans, and GOOD sushi (doesn't seem to exist...).

Thanks so much.

Clara
