We're considering making Galatoire's a choice for our upcoming early January trip and would dine there either Wed. or Thursday night. How long should we expect to wait for a downstairs table? Also, is there much difference in dining upstairs or downstairs? At ome establishments (for instance Peter Lugers or the Palm in NY) you almost feel like a 2nd class citizen as soon as you start the march up the stairs. Is it true here?
