Best Waffles for San Francisco Brunch?

I'm not a big waffle fan, but I do occasionally like to enjoy these treats if they're done right. My version of what makes these tasty are a crispy crust with a fluffy and soft inside. Easy enough where you can cut into them with a fork with enough pressure.

I don't like much fruit, just an occasional sprinkling of strawberries, raspberries, etc (not drowned in jammy sauce), and of course some whipped cream and syrup on the side.

One waffle in the Bay Area I particularly enjoyed was at the Three Degrees restaurant in the Toll House hotel in Los Gatos.

Can anyone share their favorites in SF?
