Voyage Review

Went on Saturday night...made reservation at 9 but it wasn't needed because the place was practically empty (I guess everyone was out at the beach). Service was very friendly and responsive...I had an appetizer salad with sauteed romaine and grilled asparagus as the main components (can't remember what else) and it was sooo good, it may have been a little salty for some but I love salt and I loved it and the dish had a great grilled flavor...for a main course I had a second appetizer of Truffled Scallops Creamy Old Fashioned Grits, Red Eye Gravy which was also delicious, the sauce was tasty and a little sweet but not too sweet, the grits had a great consistency and flavor, and the scallops were cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had the Hearts of Palm, Watermelon & Goat Cheese Salad Beet & Pistachio Syrup as an appetizer which he loved (I tasted it and also thought it was great, I may get that next time) and the short rib as his main...he loved it but for me it was a bit too sweet/syrupy. We had the Gooey Cocoa Angel Food Cake Bitter Chocolate Sauce for desert, he loved it, I thought it was just okay but to be honest I'm not a giant chocolate lover.
