Voyage to Northeast Indiana

Hi. Im a SF Chowhound headed to Northeast Indiana for a week of fried fish, ice cream, deer jerky, cinnamon buns and pork tenderloins (not necessarily in that order.) Does any one have any advice for some homemade food in that area? I hear good things about Chicken and Noodles in Amish Country. I'm open to anything rib-stickin' and cheap. Thanks!
