Just had a fantastic meal at Vox in Henderson. They have just opened about a week ago, and by our meal, it can only get better. We had a tasting, started with a fig salad with candied walnuts and a warm tatsoi salad with quail egg and bacon lardons. Two soup tastings, carrot and ginger with cardomom creme fraiche, pumpkin with speck ham. A seared scallop with lentils, a scallop en croute with creamed leeks and truffle. Whole oven roasted Branzino with arugula and honey. And I think we had every dessert on the menu! The sorbets are wonderful, their "take" on bananas foster was well worth it. I would suggest this restaurant highly to anyone in the area. They also have a great wine list, super affordable, and they are open 24 hours due to gaming. I think once they are open for a little longer, the service issues will be worked through, but even at that, they were minimal. Not to metion, they had a great jazz trio playing the majority of our two hours there. As a friend of mine told me, "RUN, don't walk, to VOX"!
