Vollrath Mirage Pro IIIG4 Induction Stove Losing Power

westes | Jan 10, 201912:14 AM     20

I have a Vollrath Mirage Pro IIIG4 induction stove plate that worked fine for a few years. In the last month, it is losing power. For example, I was able to bring a pressure cooker to full pressure very quickly with a temperature setting of 280F. After the recent power loss, even 400F will not bring the pressure cooker to full pressure. I can still boil a pot of water, but it takes longer and more power.

Is this a known failure condition for the Mirage Pro? What kind of component failure might this represent?

I understand that Vollrath only services commercial accounts. So as a consumer I would be totally without options in getting support from Vollrath?
