Vittorio! follows a no-corkage policy with stupid overpriced wines but OK pizza

I hate this and hope its not going to be a trend, places that are an ok value like Fioretto Trattoria that have super fair prices on food but the prices on the wine list do not match and do not offer outside wine, unlike Fioretto that does have super good wines, albeit in the mid 40’s Vittorio’s list flat out sucks –nothing really under $ 35 worth drinking and for that you get luke warm Chianti that retail for $ 5 – the salads are small and nothing special for $ 7 a shot but the pizzas does have merit - $ 17 bought me a large pie for 2 with garlic and thinly sliced meatballs – it was more NY style and did the trick, but for my $ café med blows them all away with much better food and wine + you can byo. Oh, Vittorio does also have those tasty garlic/salt pizza balls for starters that Santo Pietro used to do.
