Great find! We went tonight expecting a typical pizza/pasta Italian place. It was far from it. The food is Sicilian based and was fantastic. The pizza is brick oven and 'personal' sized a la Vecchia, but with much more variety. Our 9 year old chose the white pizza and was VERY happy. I stole a bite and agree - the ricotta was unbelievable. I ordered the Veal Chop Valdosta and it was really yummy. It was served with sauteed fresh spinach that was tasty & a mashed potato log - the least impressive part of our meal (the log). Hubby got a pasta with eggplant and sausage. Pasta tasted fresh. The sauces were flavorful and light - not heavy handed. The owners are friendly and are from Sicily. Had to try dessert...9 year old proclaimed the cannoli a winner, and hubby and I inhaled the Tiramisu - marscapone was perfect, and the ladyfingers were perfectly soaked. Wanted to get the word out because they definitely deserve the business & I fear that like us, everyone might think they are just 'another' low end pizza/pasta place.
