visitors' pizza

tracey | Sep 1, 2004 10:58 AM

my sister and her bf are coming into town. they want NY pizza. she didn't like Lombardi's on her last visit because the crust was too hard. (--i have since had some pretty tasty pies from Lombardi's but do remember being unable to chew through the crust that night. made our jaws ache).

should i take her to Grimaldi's for the bridge experience or to John's on Bleecker? (i haven't been to either). or be safe but forgo a kind of quaint NY experience and go to Patsy's for a pie w/prosciutto, which everyone seems to generally like?

thanks so much in advance. pls don't anyone tell me to take her to difara's because she is not a waiting-in-line, venturing far out on the D line kind of person. even the thought of a wait at Grimaldi's makes me kind of uneasy... but let me now if it's worth it. thx!
