I am leaving Thursday for a 12-day visit to Czech Republic. I will be in Prague on the weekends but I will be spending a solid 8 days in a small factory (population 30,000) town about an hour from Prague.
I have copied all the food recommedations for Prague. I was hoping you could provide a strategy on how to eat in what I expect to be a less cosmopolitan place.
Also, I had asked our contact there about whether I should be prepared to pay for the hotel in cash or credit card. He advised either way is ok. ARe credit cards universally accepted at this time? Would I get the better exchange rate from ATM's or from the banks?
I visited Prague, Brno, Bratislava and points in between many times during the communist times. It is my first visit since the velvet revolution.
Thanks in advance for your comments.
