I'll be in SF for a conference from Wed. April 9th to Sunday April 13th and I'm looking to make the most of my first visit to SF.
I'm staying at the SF Hilton down town (333 O'Farell I think), and I don't think I will have the opportunity to get out of down town. Where are some good places to hit while I'm in town?
Local lunch spots would be good, unique, weird, and funky are all pluses.
I'm also a HUGE beer geek, and local breweries or brewpubs are a good thing.
A good Sushi place would also be a good thing, as I live in Omaha, and I'm usually limited in that area.
I'd like to try Tom Colichio's 'wichcraft out there, is it as good as it sounds?
A friend of mine recommended Golden Boy Pizza, but he hasn't been there in a few years, is it decent?
I wouldn't mind a few recommendations for some low-key bars as well. I love a good dive, so don't worry about sending me someplace fancy.
