Restaurants & Bars 3

Visiting Quebec City

jjdot | Jul 14, 2008 11:45 AM

I am visiting Quebec City for the first time at the end of July. I will be traveling alone and will be there for 2 nights and almost 3 days. I am looking for suggestions for lunch and dinner. I will probably be spending much of my time near the old city and downtown. When i'm alone I like to eat at places that have a bar area but I am also open to casual, take out type meals. I visit Montreal often and love shopping at the markets. Is there a market in Quebec that I should try? What about bakeries?

I am a fan of fresh local ingredients & french-inspired cuisine. I also cook at home a lot and like to find unusual ingredients at markets.

I'm looking forward to the trip and the food!
