visiting Pala resort [San Diego]

We just spent a couple days at Pala resort near Temecula, it has a Casino, and a no smoking gambling room. The steakhouse there is called the Oak room, and it compares with any steakhouse in vegas, in fact much better that the Wynn steakhouse. I had a bone in ribeye steak with Scallops, that they called surf and turf, the steak must have been at least 16 oz. and the scallops were great also, the steak was tender and flavorful. As an appetizer my friend and I shared a seafood tower for two, it had two of each of the lobster tails and claws, 6 huge shrimp, 6 oysters, crab legs, and ceviche, it was not cheap, but much less than Vegas, $65 for the surf and turf, (the steak by itself was $38) $21 each for the seafood tower. Fantastic service, and nice ambiance. The rooms at Pala were great with stall showers and a a great view for $119 a night, Casino was very smokey, although they have a no smoking room you still have to walk through a very smokey casino to get there.
