First time at A Street Cafe recently. In general, the food was very good. Three of us had veal preparations -- generous helpings, interesting sauces, nicely prepared. I had the veal shitake, very good dish. Our other companion had rack of lamb, also "good" she said. Soup was not very hot, a disappointment because we'd heard the soup is very good here. Other observations -- it took a long time after our starter to be served our main course. Also, there was a lot of smoke from the kitchen in the dining room, which is adjacent -- my eyes were watering at one point.
