A brief visit - Recommendations for Lunch in Chinatown

TacoBoy | Jun 6, 200510:09 AM     5

Hi,

We'll be in the city for a brief visit and I am looking for recommendations for lunch in Chinatown. Also does anyone have suggestions for breakfast in the North Beach or Chinatown areas? Oh, and is there a good place for freshly made bubble tea (not mix)?

I was thinking of Hang Ah tearoom as a possibility. I have fond memories of eating there as a child but haven't been there in over twenty years. I have far more dim sum experience now than I did then. I’m worried that the food will not live up to my memories.

We'll have with us a very adventurous three year old. He eats what we eat and we eat almost anything. He's even accustomed to eating in some very nice restaurants, but for this trip I'd like to stay on the casual side.

The main thing we're looking for is really good food regardless of atmosphere.

I look forward to your recommendations!
