Hi ChowHounders,
I paid a visit to Boston this past weekend and before coming out "stalked" the boards looking for a few good places to eat. Before I get to that, let me say first I am a Red Sox fan (from CA), and was basically on my own exploring the town. I love Boston!

OK, so I strolled around China Town, found an place called "Vietnamese Sandwich" and stopped in for some fried rice and shrimp spring rolls. With a Coke, I spent about $6 and very much enjoyed the rolls and rice. I later stopped at a Chinese food place and ate a good meal (Budda's Delight), but cannot remember the name of the restaurant.

Later, my buddy and I went to Neptune's Oyster for some fried clams. I had the horseradish crusted salmon - excellent service and food. On Saturday (before the game, our last day there) we met some friends and went to Pizzeria Regina. GREAT pizza! I was full for the duration of the game!

Around town I found a coffee shop off the Charles/MGH station, but, alas, do not remember the name - good coffee and a great sour cream coffee cake muffin. Later,(different day) in Cambridge I had an egg sandwich on Crema Cafe's homemade english muffin and a coffee - very good and inexpensive (I paid around $5 for the sandwich and coffee).

Regina's and Neptune's were the two places recommending on CH, so I am grateful. I posted the others to share some good places to stop or to jog a memory about a cafe name. Thanks to all the Boston CH folks who unknowingly provided excellent rec's for a place to eat!
