Edible Flowers Extracts

I recently got a small bottle of culinary violet extract as a gift. It smells amazing, but I cant find any recipes using it. I know I can always add it to whipped cream and things like that, but does anyone know of any violet recipes using the ingredient?

I've only heard of violet vinegar, violet in tea, and violet in simple syrup for confections, cocktails, ice creams, and, as you mention, whipped cream or frosting. Might pair well with cinnamon.

I’ve seen recipes for violet hard candies/lollipops. I love floral flavors so I’d be interested in trying it anywhere rose or lavender is used. You could also experiment with cocktails. A violet simple syrup sounds wonderful.
