There's really cool new wine shop and bar in Reno called Vintage. They have a neat concept I haven't seen. There are several machines with wine bottles hooked up to hoses feeding nitrogen into them. You purchase a card of any dollar amount, place it in a slot in the machine, then push a button of any wine you choose to taste and it automatically pours a 1 oz. serving into your glass, while debiting your card. Of course, you can push the button multiple times for larger tastes. At any time, there are probably 30+ wines to taste, of different prices and varietals. I think .99 may have been the least expensive but they also had Opus 1, Insignia, and even Lafite Rothschild. I tried an ounce of 2002 Insignia for $14. Not exactly inexpensive, but a fun and cheaper way to try some pricey juice. They will give you a plate of cheese at no charge. It's a small shop but they carry a very interesting, well thought out selection of wines. Not your typical Kendall Jackson, Turning Leaf, etc. The bottle prices are ok-not the highest, nor the lowest.
