Vintage, hard-to-find and cult brand names

fairdose | Oct 7, 201308:37 AM     50

My parents bought Rena cookware back in the early 1970's which we still have and all the pieces are still in near-perfect condition 40+ years later.

I'm wondering if there are other vintage, retro, discontinued, out-of business, hard-to-find cookware, bakeware, brands out there which are worth looking into and collecting. I'm an avid home cook but I really love the quality appeal many of these older brands have. The stuff they made before "planned obsolescence" came into being was near indestructible. I also love having unique stuff no one has ever heard of particularly European and Japanese brands and names.

Thanks!
