I went for lunch today today to this place at teh corner of beach and Oxford that opened this week. It was OK but doesn't displace any of my favorites. This small restaurant has two floors and the place was hopping at noon today. The Chinese BBQ menu has several intersting items such as pepa duck and chau chow duck and whole pigs are available in both suckling ($13/lb) and large ($8/lb). Since it's a BBQ place, I tried the three meat rice plate and thought the duck and chicken were nicely flavored but the Char siu was not as good as Hong Kong Eatery. They had a few different items on the main menu (singapore style chow fun) but most of it was the usual fare. It might be worth another trip but it seemed like more of the same. I would be interested to heear from anyone else whihas tried it.
