i'm headed for a one-night getaway at the black walnute manor B&B in vineland, with plans to visit Tawse, Malivoire, Thirty Bench and Creekside (thanks to this board for all the old recs on those). we also have a dinner at vinelands estates resto in the package, and i was wondering what to expect.
i was a bit dissapointed with a meal i had at Inn on the 20 in the summer - not the meal, just the service. plates took forever to be cleared, and they treated us with clear disdain because we were in our mid-twenties and ordered a $32 bottle of wine instead of a $62 one.
so i want to be prepared for this meal, and was hoping some of you had dined at vinelands what is the room like? what is the dress? what is the service like? formal, lissez-faire, efficient, gracious - or somehwere i between? also, stand-out or don't-do dishes?
thanks in advance...and of course, i'll report back :)
