VINE in San Clemente

Last night we(8 people) had the pleasure of experiencing a fantastic new(open 8 weeks) restaurant in San Clemente called VINE. The owner-chef is previously from FRENCH 75 in Laguna and has really created a great concept for several stand out dishes.

First courses:
Diver Scallop wrapped in Bacon sitting on a Corn Chowder
Ahi Tartar (really good)
Seared Foie Gras on Brioche w/champagne grapes

Swordfish w/5 spice
Lamb Shank (perfect)
Pork Tenderloin (perfect)

Chocolate Souffle
Cheese Cake w/basamic strawberries
Cream Brulee
Lemon Tart
(every desert was above average)
