Stopped in for lunch today and had a very nice meal. Nothing particularly inventive on the menu but comfort food/bar food favorites done nicely. Instead of bread and butter the table got crisp flatbread with a garlicky hummus with red peppers.
The sliders are apparently grass-fed and were tasty but overcooked. Came with a small cup of marinated olives on the side and house made ketchup upon request.
Sweet potato fries were very crisp and seemed battered, done very nicely. Garlic mashed potatoes were skin-on and very good.
Overall, a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Everyone else at the table also enjoyed their food and is definitely the best option in the immediate vicinity. Beer list was good - Lost Abbey Red Barn, Stone IPA, Delerium Tremens, Stone Smoked Porter, Duvel Green and a few other good choices. Prices were high for beer - $8 for a can of Maui Coconut Porter.
