Villa de Flora

This Meditrainan buffet is inside the Gaylord Palms Hotel located close to Orlando and Disney.

My husband and I go there for all of our special occasions because for around $30.00 per person you get excellent food, beverage and dessert for one price.

Each night represents a different country. We like Thursday night because we love Greek cooking/food. Our two favorites are the lamb and the cocunut shrimp. The prime rib and pasta bar is also very good.

The salads, olives, artichokes are fresh and wonderful. As a diabetic the kitchen will make up a fruit bowl for me and my husband eats greek pastry and bread pudding.

The atmosphere is like a sidewalk cafe close to a babbling brook, tropical plants and orchids as well as fresh herd growing that end up in a pot on our table. There is men walking around playing a harp or guitar at our table. Keep tipping them and they will stay at the table till time to leave.

When we pull up under the portico a valet parks our car and gives us a $10.00 stub that is validated at our table for free parking.

This dining experience is stress-free, no waiting in long lines and has to be the best food in our area.
