Vietnamese sandwiches at Porter Square

Hamster | Jan 26, 2004 09:17 AM

Yesterday as I wandered down Mass Ave from Porter to Harvard Square, I made a happy discovery. I believe what was formerly Tea Tray in the Sky reopened about a week ago as Sweet Tea Cafe (1796 Mass Ave.) They serve food including Vietnamese sandwiches (!), pho, various appetizers, plus bubble tea.
I only tried the bubble tea, and it was not amazing. But I am looking forward to trying their sandwich sometime soon. It will be nice to have that option in Cambridge instead of having to treck down to Chinatown. Although the price is not at all comparable. $3.50 a sandwich at this place.
Please post your thoughts if you try this place. I'm very intrigued.
