If you have an urge for Vietnamese Sandwiches (Banh Mi) and Noodle Soup (Pho), but live in the Richmond/Pinole area and don't want to drive all the way to SF, I've found a place for you.

I went to visit my friends in Pinole and they took me to this new vietnamese hole-in-the-wall place. I think they just opened like 4 weeks ago. Its called, "Art's Cafe Vietnamese Food."

They do serve pretty good Banh Mi and Noodle Soup. Normally when i think of Banh Mi and Noodle Soup, I think of San Francisco or San Jose, but i have to admit that this place is a good alternative if you live in the Richmond/Pinole area and don't want to drive too far to satisfy your appetite.

I know they have Noodle Soup and Sandwiches, but I think they also have Spring Rolls, Rice Plates, and Vermicelli.

Here's the address:

Art's Cafe Vietnamese Foods
10174 San Pablo Ave
El Cerrito
(510)528-8882
