PPQ #2 restaurant, on Clement St. near 25th av, has a nice special dinner of whole crab in a butter/garlic/spice mixture, with cio-gio (egg rolls )and garlic wheat noodles finishing with probably the best fried banannas with ice cream in town. They use the little lady finger bannanas and black sessame seeds suspended in and visible through the fried batter.
Other good things are the Pho, with really rich broth, although they sometimes are out of the asian basil to rip up and drop in the bowl. I like to adjust thease soups by requesting some chopped garlic and ginger and adding a little red chili sauce and fish sauce. And also they make a really mean Bo Tai Chan ( an asian syle carpachio).
I still have to work my way through the menu, but I keep getting stuck at my favorites and find it hard to move on.

Oh, that crab special is meant for two, but I'm afraid I eat it all myself.
