My boyfriend and I just returned from a vacation in Vietnam, and one of the many things we loved there was the food...from bowls of bun cha on the street to elegant meals in the very upscale restaurants of Hanoi and Saigon (I am planning post on the International board, as soon as I get a chance...)
Anyway, I'd like to get him a Vietnamese cookbook for the holidays this year, and am wondering what advice all of you have for the best one out there. I'd like the book to have everything from pho and bun recipes to some of the more refined dishes we had (pork in caramel sauce, fish in tamarind sauce, etc.)
If I can find one with Cha Ca, that would be the best!
