vielle prune

My favorite French tipple is vielle prune, a delicious plum brandy that is aged with the seriousness usually accorded to cognac or armagnac. When I go to Paris, I usually pick up a few bottles at Fauchon, which has an extra-aged one that is not to be believed. But the dollar being what it is these days, I haven't been to France in a couple of years, and this nectar seems to be totally unavailable locally. Is there a restaurant, bar or liquor store in or around Los Angeles where I could again obtain the liver-destroyer of the gods?
