Help!

I'm going to Victoria with my family for a few days coming up and I need some recommendations on where to dine. I have a Celiac father (not that he admits it) and my parents are both middle aged, so nothing too trendy, but if there's anything new and interesting anyone can suggest, please do. We WON'T be going to: Stage, Ulla, Café Brio, Matisse - trying to find some more interesting spots rather than the old traditional ones (that they have been to many times).

We're staying right downtown, walking or driving (not too far) are both options.

Thank you in advance!
