Gonna be joining the GF during the first weekend in March as she will be in town for a conference. Hopefully we can share a few nice dinners in Vic before heading back up island. And Chow recommendations for some not bank breaking suppers? I love ethnic cuisine and a killer Japanese place would be wonderful. I'm also the foodie-er of the two so a few solid, non-weird dishes for the better half would go a long way.

Also if she's tied up for the day is there some good wandering I can do when I'm left to my own devices? Does Swans still serve oatmeal stout? Is Swans even still there? And Grandville Island type markets etc?

Thanks.
