My wife and I will be in Venice for 3 nights -- I'm a vegetarian, and she loves seafood; we do like more experimental/modern food, but generally find we prefer the osteria/trattorias that do traditional foods very well (especially true in Italy). Ideally, we'd do a mix of both.

I especially like modern restaurants that are focused on the flavour/food vs fitting into some requirements for Michelin.

We'll go to La Zucca for one meal, so that leaves 2 dinners and maybe one lunch.

Here's my shortlist:
- zanze xvi
- has vegetarian tasting menu
- covino
- Osteria Boccadoro
- ai mercanti

- FIOLA AT DOPOLAVORO VENEZIA 4.8*
- has vegetarian tasting menu
- venissa / venissa osteria
- can do vegetarian
- ristorante local
- can do vegetarian

- al covo
- Trattoria Alla Fontana
- estro

Any that you would recommend in particular or remove from this list? Or is there something I'm missing?

There are some other restaurants that are recommended here that don't offer much in terms of vegetarian options (Alle Testiere, Antiche Carampane, Corte Sconta) , but maybe I should enquire?

Thanks in advance
