A while ago I asked if anyone knew of a Chinese restaurant that served this Velvet Shrimp dish. It is made with egg whites, water chestnuts, and of course, shrimp. The only place I knew that served it was Hunan Taste, which was a little out of the way. Now, Hunan Taste is gone and the new owners have removed it from the menu.
If anyone happens to know of an LA area place that serves this dish, most likely an old-school Chinese restaurant, that would be most appreciated.
