The Viet Cafe in Tribeca has this dish they call vegetarian crab cakes. They are really delicious. Crispy panko coated outside and crabcake consitsency inside. Even has a bit of a crab or fish taste, but there is neither fish nor crab in it. You can see some carrot, pepper, maybe tofu, and lots of secret ingredients. They taste amazing and are served with a bit of Vietnamese salad, and a kind of tartar sauce. I'm wondering if anyone has ever had anything similar anywhere.
