Vegetarian Abalone at R&G Lounge

I don't recall if it's been mentioned before, but the Vegetarian Abalone at R&G is delicious, even to a determined carnivore like myself. It consists of about 8 round slices of something that looks quite similar to the real thing, with a slightly rubbery texture reminiscent of japanese fishcake, and a flavor surprisingly close to abalone. It is served on a bed of spinach and brown sauce (presumably soy- and oyster-sauce based.)

And, yes, the salt-and-pepper crab is still the best!
