Has anyone tried the vegetarian degustation at L'Espalier? I'm going there on Saturday and since I am pregnant, I was thinking this might be a good bet for me, given all the pregnancy dietary restrictions--no foie gras, nothing undercooked, fish restrictions, etc. Sigh. My husband and I always say that if we ever go to Charlie Trotter's in Chicago, one of us will get the regular tasting menu and the other the vegetable, so that we can try both, but I don't know if the L'Espalier vegetable menu has a similar reputation. Hounds, what do you think?
