My hostess has asked me to bring a vegetable side dish to a party. I'm at a loss. Any suggestions for a dish I can make at home that will travel well and be appealing to the crowd when it hits the table some time later? In theory I could plan something which requires an oven or stove top but then what if those aren't available? Ideally I'd like something which can sit and still be delicious. Any ideas?
