Veg/Seafood-friendly Birthday/Anniversary restaurant?

I'm an avid Chowhound follower and pretty tuned in to the Montreal dining scene, but typically--due to a modest dining-out budget--we frequent ethnic and moderately priced restaurants. But there's a birthday and an anniversary coming up, so we're ready to splurge a little more than usual.

The requirements are: Since we don't eat meat, it needs to be veg/fish/seafood friendly. Walking distance from our pad in the Plateau is ideal but not essential. Can be BYOW but doesn't need to be. Price isn't a huge consideration--since it will be a special occasion--but we're more interested in good value for good food than a trendy atmosphere.

Some birthday restos we've enjoyed in the past: Laloux, Pintxo, La Montée de Lait (RIP), Brunoise (RIP), Les 3 Petits Bouchons, La Salle à Manger.

Some thoughts for this time around:

Tuck Shop
Les 400 Coups
Le Chien Fumant
Le Filet
Le Bremner
Kitchen Galerie/KG Poisson
La Porte

Places we've been to, but not at all recently, so in the running:
Au Cinquième Péché
Les Héritiers

Any input or additions to the list welcome, especially if you've had recent experiences at any of these.
