We had a decent meal there last nite but it wasn't too too busy. Does anyone else remember when it was a pretty happening spot? I'm not sure how it lost its lustre but we didn't need our 7:45 reservations. There were two choices each for app., entree and dessert. I noticed that the menu is pretty limited, only 5 entree choices and two are beef oriented. Nice foccacia bread with olive oil which was my only starch. We both got the grilled shrimp w/ parmesan crusted asparagus which was good. Two small-med size shrimp. I got sea bass w/ corn and saffron sauce and my friend got cornish game hen which didn't look too small and bony. The fish was very tasty, the sauce was as good as the waitress said. Dessert choices didn't thrill me, pannacotta or a canoli, we both chose the latter. It was filled with a coffee type filling and was decent but I wish they'd had the blueberry crostata for a choice. Service was perfect, the room's still nice and the food was pretty decent. Maybe it's slow cuz it's so hard to find in that maze of the financial district.
